Wet Dreams in Puberty

The first boy's wet dream normally happens around the age of 13 to 14. The mixture of high levels of sex hormones and lack of sexual release can cause sexual dreams and even actual ejaculation in the night. This can be confusing or embarrassing however it is absolutely normal and most adult males have experienced at least one wet dream in their lifetime. Wet dreams are a natural and safe way for the body to release sexual energy.

Puberty and Wet Dreams

Remedies to stop wet dreams

Usually the best remedy for wet dreams is masturbation. If you can get used to ejaculating while awake you are much less likely to ejaculate in the night. Normally wet dreams do not present any problem as any spunk ejaculated can easily be cleaned up with a soapy sponge or tissues.

Adult males wet dreams

Adults can have wet dreams as well as teenagers going through puberty. Again this is quite normal although it usually happens less often. Why you may have wet dreams one night and not another is not clear but it is believed that wet dreams are a result of high sexual hormone levels without sexual release.
